As a kid, I use to love helping my mom make her yummy lasagna. One of her secret ingredients for the meat sauce was to pan fry some italian sausage then mix in ground pork. Well, she use cook the sausage first to a golden brown and then set a couple of spoons fulls aside for me to munch on. Nothing like a mom to give you your favorite treats:-)
Just fried up some sausage for a pizza and found myself doing the exact same thing:-)
